It seems like we were celebrating 15 years and then 20 years just yesterday.
From One-Man Shop to Full-Scale IT Partner
Back in March 2000, before smartphones took over and cloud computing became the norm our founder, Michael Carreiro, opened Micro Computers, a small one-man shop at 215B Salem Street in Medford, MA. At the time, we were all about selling PCs and providing Break/Fix technology services, helping businesses get back on track when tech issues popped up.
But as businesses became more dependent on technology, it was clear that companies needed more than just a quick fix they needed a trusted IT partner to proactively support, secure, and optimize their technology investments. That’s when Michael envisioned something bigger: an IT services company that wasn’t just a provider, but a strategic ally—a true extension of a business’s team.
And so, Auxzillium was born (from the Latin word for “support”). Our mission? To provide 24/7 proactive IT solutions, delivering innovation, strategy, and a full-scale IT team, without the cost of an in-house department.
